Geet hui sabse parayi at star one

Thursday, August 12, 2010 0
Once during channel surfing I happened to see this TV show and I liked it not instantly but after a few times I saw it. Now, I am totally crazy for this serial. Nice story, good choice of characters and the chemistry between Gurdeep Choudhary and Dhrasti Dami is so lovely... got no words to describe that. For those who have never seen this serial before, it is a romantic comedy at least from the time I have started watching it has been that. Having said that, it has also got a very serious storyline and that's what makes this show a hit.

Although, the first time I saw Gurdeep Choudhary I seriously thought he was playing the villain but no he is a good guy and now I absolutely love his character. If after seeing him you think he have seen him before… yes… you might have, in the new Ramayan he played Shri Ram. And now he is also dating Sita mata of Ramayana Debina Bonnerjee, don’t like her so much though, Gurdeep rocks!

Pic Credit: Truepuzzle.com

Gurdeep is paired opposite Dhrasti Dhami and she is one pretty lady, and where have we seen her before? In the remix song Sayaan dil mein aana rey aake phir na jaana rey....

For now wishing this show great success and hoping that it will continue at the same entertaining level if not better in the days to come!

Hindi serials - Ladies First

Monday, March 8, 2010 0

It was Women's day yesterday, and who else gives so much significance to Womanhood than our Hindi TV shows! While a few decades ago, Men got all the importance (Byomkesh Bakshi, Karamchand, Nukkad, Fauji, Zabaan sambaalke etc), now is the era of Women. All our protagonists are females and inspire us to stretch out of the ordinary and achieve unthinkable. Three Cheers to Women and Three Cheers to our Hindi TV Serials!!

Mahi Way is the recent show to keep me hooked but unfortunately they have changed the timings. From Saturday 9pm they air it now at 8pm on Friday. I don't like that all because it clashes with Jhaansi ki Rani and Yahan mein Ghar Ghar Kheli plus it leaves me nothing to watch on Saturdays. Moreover, the repeat comes on Monday morning 10 which is difficult to catch with other things to do. I need to check if the show is repeated on Tuesdays at 1:30 pm also. Mahi Way is quite different than our regular serials but quite an entertainer.

Yahan mein Ghar Ghar Kheli is catching up, earlier it used to be such a bore but now gradually I am beginning to like it. Its sad that Baa Bahu aur Baby is off-air... with nothing left to watch on Star plus. They changed the timings to 10:30 pm from 8 which most of the viewers didnt know about, including me, and when I knew I missed a large part of the story. Star Plus has become the most boring channel now.

I haven't got Sahara Channel for a long time now, so not been able to watch Rehne wali mehlon ki but am not complaining as it was not going that great... but would like to know how far the story has come now.

Latest updates

Friday, June 12, 2009 0
Once again I have come to that stage when my regular TV shows are not able to keep me interested. Starting with Bidaai... its getting so boring with Alek trying to fix Sadhana's match with Slokh... seriously can a mentally imbalanced person scheme so much??? Rehne wali mehlon ki... I have almost discontinued watching that after the entry of Mhatre... he looks so horrible and even when I tell myself that he is just acting I get a very yucky feel to watch him and his behavior. This time they got really unrealistic with the story line. No woman in earth would do what Rani is set to do...

So if I am not watching my regular shows, what am I watching? I have started to like Agle Janam Mohe Beetiya hi Kijiyo on Zee TV; and Vikram Betaal on Colors. Almost all Indian viewers would know what Vikram Betaal is all about... we have grown up watching Vikram Betaal. But this is with new characters, new setup so its fun and informative to watch it all over again.

About Agle Janam Mohe Beetiya hi Kijiyo, it has a good story line revolving around the life of girls in UP. I like the generous use of Bhojpuri language in the show and also the story line. Also the Chote Thakur Rajshekar (Abhishek Rawat) is a cutie, seen him in Ads before but here he has acted well also.

Zee TV's Dance India Dance Finale

Sunday, May 24, 2009 0
dance India dance finalists

Time flies and its already time for Dance India Dance to get over. The coming Saturday will be the final and out of the four finalists, one winner will be chosen. I love this show for the amazing dance that I got to see in the show but I hate it because of its voting system. There were so many good dancers who are not there now in the finals and actually deserved to be here but just because they didn't get enough votes they are out. Only if such reality shows were not votes based it would had been much more fairer.

I particularly wanted Mayuresh and Khusboo in the show and felt they were deserving. In one of my earlier post on Dance India Dance I had mentioned that Alisha Singh who was also the winner of Boogie-Woogie stands a chance to win. Its really nice to see her in the finals.

One more grudge that I have is, why is this show giving importance to dancers doing stunts, after all this show is not about stunts or acrobats its about dance. Some guys in the finals aren't that great looking and are more of a stunt man than dancers but they have managed to reach in the final. And Voters also need to be told "Digave peh mat jao apni dimaag lagaao". I have been observing this on Dance India Dance, whenever the judges and Mithunda say some extraordinary praises for a particular dancer they get all the attention.

It all looks fake at one moment of time, as if a few dancers are purposely being promoted even though they aren't so great. And these same dancers will be the one who will get the maximum votes. How unfair!! Its an art of influencing the minds of the audience and in the whole process, much more talented dancers with better personalities are left out.

I wish Alisha wins coz she may not be a stunt woman but is an ace dancer and deserves the "Taqdeer ki Topi" by all means.

New shows coming on channels

Today IPL will end and that's such a relief for me and so many others like me who would get to now watch their favorite shows at its actual time and not the repeat, the next day. All this while, TV channels were promoting their upcoming TV serials. Bhaskar Bharati on Sony TV and Aapki Antara on Zee TV are two such upcoming serials that caught my attention.

It is very obvious that Bhaskar Bharati would be like the Hindi Movie Mr-ya-Ms.If you have seen the Hindi movie you will agree with me, by the way I loved that movie... it was hilarious. Antara Mali did a fab job... wherever has she disappeared now! From the promo I feel even the actress in the TV serial Bhaskar Bharati may do good job.

Talking about Aapki Antara I am having this strong feeling that this serial may have its story idea linked with Taare Zameen Par. But, that's only a guess it may be not.

At this moment, I'm more than happy that the IPL is getting over and once again it will be TV time at night but what a pity again on June 5 there will be the World cup. I hope/wish/pray it rains through out that time and the world cup gets cancelled. There cannot be any bigger happiness than that!!

I love Hindi TV shows

Tuesday, March 31, 2009 0
I am an avid TV viewer. In a day, I spend minimum of 2 hours watching TV much to the annoyance of people around me. This was on reason why I thought of having a blog dedicated to Indian TV Industry. Another reason was, I am impressed by the people behind making this Industry such a huge success. They work so hard, not just the actors but even those working behind scenes.

Have you ever seen a Televison show writer, I saw one once not in person but in TV and newspapers. She had the worst dark circles I had ever seen in a person. For all the hardwork these people do, some media journalists only give them flaks in return. Only one area where I think TV industry can improve is in the dialogues... Most of the times its very mediocre. You will most likely here certain words, like... Vaise bhi, Woh kya hain nah and so on.

I think Serial Bidaai's got a good dialogue writer. However, in this show I noticed some Hindi translation of few famous English lines, like "You know what your problem is?" in this serial many times this is translated into "aap jaante ho aapki samasiya kya hain?" There are some more but can't recollect them now.

All said and done... love to watch TV so much that these days I'm cursing IPL and cricket. It makes men in the house so selfish and wicked...!!!

Mata ki Chowki Aarati

I have always enjoyed listening the devotional songs, that are played in Mata ki Chowki. This time I have managed to get one such beautiful song and put down its lyrics too for my personal use.

Mata ki Chowki Song (Aarati)

Ambe tum ho Jagdambe Kali
Jai Durge chaparwali
Tere hi gun gaawe Bharati

O'Ambe tum ho Jagdambe Kali
Jai Durge chaparwali
Tere hi gun gaawe Bharati
O'Maiya hum sab utaare teri Aarati

Teri jagat ke bhakt jano par
peed padi hain baahri
Danaav dal par tut padi
Maa karke singh savari

Sau sau singho si tu balshaali
Hain ashth bhujawowaali
Dushtoh ko tu hi lalkaarti
O'Maiya hum sab utaare teri Aarati

Ma beti kaa hain ise jag mein bada hi nirmal naata
puth kuputh suni hain par na mata suni kumata
Ma beti kaa hain ise jag mein bada hi nirmal naata
puth kuputh suni hain par na mata suni kumata

Sab par karuna darshanewali
Sab ko harshane wali
Naya bavar se ubaarati

Ambe tum ho Jagdambe Kali
Jai Durge chaparwali
Tere hi gun gaawe Bharati
O'Maiya hum sab utaare teri Aarati

Naginn will be off air soon

Thursday, March 19, 2009 0
Just today I read in the papers that Zee TV will soon take Naginn, off air. I have been sad hearing about this news. There are such horrible shows on Zee tv why are they not taking those off air, instead of Naaginn. I think on Zee TV, Naginn is the only show I was watching except for Dance India Dance which is a reality show. But after they take Naaginn off air all connections with Zee tv will be cut.

I was hoping to see more action in Naaginn but by action I didn't mean such drastic action! Anyways, there is nothing I can do about this I will surely miss Naaginn, and all the animated work that was shown like no where else I will miss that too. Hopefully, they come out with a sequel in sometime soon.

I always enjoyed the mantras and spiritual elements in Naginn. In one of the episode, when Amrita is shown invoking Nag Mani to bring her dead mother, Naag rani back to life there was a very nice recitation of Maha Mrithunjaya Mantra combined with Maha Vivah Mantra. For those who dont know, it is as follows;

Mrityunjaya Mantra

Om Tryambakam Yajamahe
Sugandhim Pushtivardhanam
Urvarukamiva Bandhanaan
Mrityor Mokshiya Maamritaat

Maha Vivaha mantra

Om Tryambakam Yajamahe
Sugandhim Pativedanam .
Urvarukamiva Bandhanaan
Ito Mokshiya Maamritaat

Go ahead and listen to the recitation in the following video;

Dance India Dance (Zee TV)

Sunday, March 15, 2009 0

This is one dance show, where the quality of dance sometimes can be outstandingly amazing. When this show started I guess the standards of the performance were higher than it is now. In this show there are 3 judges Terence Lewis, Geeta, Remo and one super judge... our very own Mithun da. I really find him very cute and cool. All the three judges have a team who compete against the other teams and also with their teams. Interesting and different concept.

Although, most of the times I like what I see, sometimes I feel the dances gets too vulgar to watch with family. Especially, coming from two sisters, when they do solo they cross all line of sensual dance and make it to vulgar dancing. And one of the sister, I think her name is Khusboo and she is very pretty but from the time she has come on the show from the time of her audition she has always exposed her midriff. Once in a while, she can cover it for a change! But its okay, what's vulgar today is style tomorrow...

There are lots of talented dancers in this show but I guess I am particularly fond of Alisha. If I am not mistaken, she had won the dance competition in Boogie Woogie. With her kind of flexibility and decent moves, she has a chance of taking away the title of Dance India Dance too. Yes there is one more noticeable dancer, her name is Noni she is a little oversized but is energy packed. Towards the end of the show, probably she will also lose that extra calories and dance even better and go home with the title. And there is another guy Prince, who like Remo says is the king of locking and popping. Not sure of his winning chances coz he was nominated for elimination twice but I like his dancing.

Who wins or who doesn’t is not important for me… all I wish is, they have some cool performances to share with their viewers like me.

Mata ki Chowki at Sahara one

Tuesday, March 10, 2009 0
I think I am getting old, I have once again forgotten to mention about another of my favorite serial that I regularly watch without fail. This show also at times gets boring in between, but from the time it has started, its storyline has been quite interesting. And top of it I have always been attracted to stories with miracles and unexplainable happenings.

But in today’s episode, I noticed one editing error. Sheel Kumar brings home Suhagnidevi’s idol and the idol is covered with a red chunni. His family asks him, what idol is it? And there is a long shot where Sheel Kumar tells his family, this is Suhagnidevi’s Idol, in this long shot there is no veil on the idol and we could very well see the idol but in the next shot he is shown unveiling the idol!! Hmm daily shows, too much work, editor is overworked??? Or was it the director’s mistake?

Other than that, there are some exceptionally good devotional songs in Mata ki Chowki. Now, after being a story revolving around Vaishnavi Maa and her devotee, this show would be incomplete without some heart touching songs. The name of the show, Mata ki chowki at first I didn’t understand what is chowki. Then I understood, in north it’s a term for Jagraata. The protagonist (Vaishnavi) of this show conducts Mata ki chowki at people’s home and something good happens for them. Although, there are lot of people conspiring against her but her father in law Sudesh Berry is the real villain.

Listen to this song, it’s nice… and some of its lyrics remind me of the song from Jai Santoshi Ma, Jai Jai Santoshi Mata Jai Jai ma. I wish I could get the other songs when she sang at other mata ki chowki.

Song: Maa Vaishnav teri jai ho jai ho...

Jai Mata Di!!

Problem with continuity of serials

Sunday, March 8, 2009 0

I am deeply observing some goof ups in serials these days. One like I mentioned in Naaginn, Surmaiya was Amrita's well wisher when we saw her many episodes back but when she returns she is shown as Amrita's enemy. Secondly, in Baa, Bahu aur Baby lately some episodes had Gudiya rebelling against Baa's stand on not to bring outside eatables. While I remember many episodes earlier, there was an oven brought by Harshad and his wife made bread in the Oven and Baa liked the idea.

So how come they were disappointed that they couldnt eat bhaji with pau, when they had oven to make pau at home. I was under the impression that after the oven came, the issues over not bringing bread/pau home was over.

For people like me who watch every episode with such deep interest, such things are very irritating. We spend our serial time thinking, but last time they showed this and that, then how come now they are showing that and this???

So serial makers please maintain the continuity of serials, even if it means with episodes that happened months back... because some viewers are watching very carefully every small bit of it!

Ballikaa Vadu on Color TV

Wednesday, March 4, 2009 0

Oops... in my previous post I forgot to mention Ballika Vadu in my list of favorites serials. The main theme of this serial is Child marriage and problems arising out of this age old practice and its continued existence in some parts of India. This serial is good too but sometimes in between gets draggy and boring. Sometimes they simple exaggerate the situation, making very silly things look dreadful... really its kind of over reacting on very small things. Like for eg. if the dadi says something rude to the kid and stuff.

So in between I had lost interest and was not watching it. Started watching it just during Sugna's wedding preparation stage. At present, there is so much of crying in the serial Suguna's husband was killed by dacoits right on their ghowna day. Instead of the marriage there is the funeral, very good twist but extremely sorrowful. But I hope now in the coming episodes we dont get to see only rona-dona.

There is some very authentic Rajasthani touch to this serial. This gives it a very rough and tough feel which is something different. And probably that's why on Color TV there will soon be another serial based on Rajasthan background, 'Iss des na aana Laado'.

Will Naaginn become another twins-seperated-at-birth story??

Sunday, March 1, 2009 0
I just realized, its almost an year that I have blogged about my favorites teleserials. But the reason is genuine, so much has happened with my favorite serials and many are no more my favorites. But they have been replaced my other good ones. In the gone list are Prithviraj Chauhan, Banu mein teri Dulhan, Shakira(God, it disappeared from tv the moment I started this blog, Sad!), Ghar Ek Sapna and added to my list of favorites are Tarak Mehta ka Ulta Chashma, Naginn and Bidaai. Woh rehne wali mehlon ki and Ba bahu aur Baby still remains by favorite... good going guys, its not such an easy task to keep me interested for so long.

Talking about Naginn, I completed love the fantasies, the magic, and everything that's there in the show. But sometimes, I find few technical errors like when Queen Surmaiya was brought to life by Triveni, she becomes Amrita's enemy, while when we last saw Surmaiya she was shown as Amrita's friend. Even few months back, we saw Surmaiya's daughter helping Amrita and giving up her life for Amrita... So whats this confusion all about??

Secondly, when Kanishq is running after Amrita to protect her, he reaches after she is dead, why on earth could he not use his personal TV with which they can see what is happening with anyone they want to know about. Anyways, now the damage is done and Amrita is dead, atleast physically... but now what? Will she come back as her twin daughters? I mean will the same actress play the role of her twins? Now, its indeed ended at a very interesting leap forward, all old characters go and new characters will come... but I just hope even after that it continues to be as interesting as it is now!!

I hate cricket...!!

Wednesday, May 7, 2008 0
I hate cricket... why on earth does it exists!! This game of cricket has made it difficult or rather impossible of me to see my favorite serials. Although I somehow manage to catch the re-runs many times i miss that too. Why do they have to show it at the same time when they know that Women watch serials at that time. Talk about men and women equalities all bullshit... men who would bitch all the time about saas-bahu serials become the real Saas and dont let the poor women folks watch their fav serials and like one bloody dictator watch cricket.

The intelligent lot (atleast they think so) who dont have anything to do with Saas bahu serials dont even realize that cricketers/actors/etc/etc are cashing in taking the advantage of all u silly cricket lovers's emotional attachment towards cricket. Or else why do SRK or Preity need to promote cricket why cant they go and promote Hockey... They dont do it coz they very well know... its not them who are promoting Cricket but its Cricket thats promoting them..!!

Cricket has now reduced to a game of tamasha than sportsmanship... everytime some new tamasha... Ohh man pls next time dont blame saas-bahu serials.... atleast we know here that its all drama. but u guys watching cricket dont even know how they are fooling you people and getting richer...!!

Down with Cricket.... Cricket hai hai!!

The falling standards...

Monday, March 10, 2008 0

Its been ages since I got anything to write on. All my favorite serials... the one listed on this blog are lacking behind in some ways or the other. Except for Bano mein teri Dulhan which managed to find some inspiration from Om Shanti Om. For this serial another atleast 100 successful episodes are assured...!

Prithviraj Chauhan: What has happened to this serial I dont know. Its walking fast towards becoming a B-grade serial. Everything shown here now looks so kiddish. It doesnt keep me interested like before. I keep changing channels even when the serial is on.

Woh Rehnewali mehlon ki: This serial was going very slow in between and getting really boring. But once again some drama has come back and thankfully its getting back into its original form.

Baa Baby aur Bahu: This serial is going on well although it had got super boring after Pravina bhabhi's death. Now, for quite sometime its doing quite well. The entertainment level is above average with this one.

Ghar Ek Sapna: Aaaahhhh, this serial has turned out to be one pain after Samaan has got back together with Kaakul. Everything in this serial looks so much forced into the serial to keep the story going. All the thrill and action it had once is not remotely seen now.

Shakira: This is the most unique one. Almost from the time I started this blog and wrote about this serial... they are showing the repeats of the serial. Either they dont have more to show or they are showing it again coz the time they started out, Bindaas tv was not so popular and many people didnt watch Shakira. Hopefully, once this series of re-runs are over, they would have fresh episodes to show.

Reality Shows

Thursday, December 20, 2007 0

By this Saturday the winners of Nach Baliye 3 will be announced. And the prize will most likely, go to Sanjeeda and Aamir. The chances of them winning, are high. Its not because they are more talented but because they are more a cute couple than Rakhi and Abhishek. And public would vote them more. But the question is does the general public really vote for all these reality shows?

I personally never do! I mean you will have to do a part-time job if one had to vote for so many reality shows. Atleast now voting for Nach baliye will get something back for the voters, in all other cases there is nothing for the voter to win.

Last week I was shocked to see Prachi win Jhalak Diklaaja. I was so sure it would be Sandhaya. But after a short thought it was kind of obvious. Every one knows Ekta's affection for Prachi; she must have sent a corporate mail to all Balaji employees' to vote for Prachi and retain the delivery report for verification.

And whether anyone did notice or not Jeetendra's grudge with Jay Bhanushali was so evident by the way he reacted to Jay's enacting Shaimak. Although, Jay sportingly ignored it, Jeetendra looked like a male Saas of Ekta's serials! Even in the elimination round Jay and Prachi's cold war could be felt.

But, seriously what is the point of having this voting system when influential people can easily manipulate them. Common man will hardly waste money to vote for such reality shows. Anyways, as long as we get good entertainment we are not complaining!

Back to Nach Baliye, I am personally divided over who should win it. I find Sanjeeda and Aamir very very cute and they have danced quite well too. Most of the times though, but not always. And on the other hand, Rakhi and Abhishek are not as good looking but their dance and most importantly their concepts are extraordinarily well done.

But this time people may genuinely vote and why, because they are going to get something in return of the votes. And if I had to vote, I would give both the couple one vote each, so it is as good as not voting at all.

Prithviraj Chauhan

Monday, December 17, 2007 0
This serial has been on air since last May. And it was going on very well too. However since around Feb-Mar this year, the standards are falling. But now once again, its trying to get back on track. The most crucial and sensitive period for this serial was exit of young Prithviraj Chauhan, played by Rajat Tokas and entry of the grown up Prithvi played by Anas Rashid.

The popularity of Rajat Tokas was getting in the way of the exit. I am myself a big fan of him, but was dead tired of seeing forced scenes into the serial. All of the extra unnecessary drama. And the most psyching was the drama involving Sanyogita. That was like a total brain cells destroying act! Producers should try and move with the script especially for historical like this one.

But one good thing is Anas Rashid looks similar to Rajat Tokas ( now waiting for him to improve his acting.). And still they keep showing flash backs only to please the audience. My advice to the makers would be to stick to the story line. And dont worry about what the audience would think. Because there are many like me who watch this serials for its historical importance. Hope the standards come back to what it was a year back.

And all Rajat Tokas fans can see him in Dharam Veer on NDTV imagine from Jan 2008. So cheer up and watch Prithviraj Chauhan for the great king and to know more about him.:)

Friday, November 2, 2007 0

I have often noticed that some production houses try to promote its serials by giving some offscreen news about the serial in the news paper.

Like the serial Dulhan on Zee TV, following were the news printed about the serial on different ocassions.

1. Sharad Malhotra (Sagar) had a scene where he is stuck inside the car and his car is burning. According to the news, he wasn’t acting he was really locked and was crying for help. The crew didn’t realise it and thought he was acting too well but later they realized and got him out.

2. The director of the serial motivates the actors by giving Rs. 100 for every brilliant act. And Sharad Malhotra was not getting anything and was very upset about it. So he took the challenge and played one shot so well that the director was speechless and he paid Sharad, a better amount.

3. In another shot, Sharad had to bang a plate on the table and during this scene; he actually broke the glass table.

4. Now something that was not about Sharad Malhotra, but on the main lead of the serial Divyanka Tripathi (Vidya). As per the news, she gave the director some medicines for his viral fever. After taking those medicines he didn’t turn up for two days and all were blaming Divyanka for it. But, Divyanka had a different story to tell. According to her she also had the same symptoms and only after confirming it with her Dad in Bhopal, who owns a Chemist shop, she gave the medicine to the director. Director also supported Divyanka and said he felt better after taking those medicines and thanked Divyanka for it.

5. One more of the during-the-shot thing. During one emotional scene, where Vidya is being blamed for cheating her husband, when in reality she was educating herself to make him happy. It was given in the news that the actors got carried away and were actually crying.

6. Now the most important, just recently there was news, saying that actor Sharad Malhotra has developed an attitude with his character getting famous. And production house will soon get his character killed in the serial. While Sharad denied the allegations and said he needed a break. In the serial, his character actually met with a serious accident and I was thinking now he will die but he DIDN’T!!

I am glad he didn’t die otherwise it would mean Sindoora getting successful in her wicked endeavors. However, it did left me thinking, if all this news that they give in the news paper are only to get the viewers more interested in the serial??

The final adieu

Wednesday, October 31, 2007 0
Last few weeks, were sad for viewers… why? This is because, in some of my favorite serials, one of the characters died. Prithviraj Chauhan lost his best friend Sanjam; Thakkar family (BBB) lost Pravina bhabhi; Parashar family (WRWMK) lost Saumya Parashar. And in Shakira every episode someone dies :).

While in case of Prithviraj Chauhan it didn’t look like a forced death, it was very much within the story line. In the other two serials it looked like the characters were killed because of some internal issues. While Aamir Ali (Saumya) said it was the demand of the story, when some ladies held a dharna in front of his house to ask him to join back. I find it very difficult to believe; now this is because there are so many things that can’t be really co-incidences.

The timing, how come the demand of the story is such, only at that time when Aamir is all set to break the floor with his Girl friend Sanjeeda Shaikh in Nach Baliye? (I really love this couple; they look very cute together and dance well too).

Secondly, the circumstances how Saumya died was not very convincing, it very much appeared, forced into the story.

Thirdly, Balaji didn’t lose a second in grabbing Aamir Ali in their upcoming venture. Now, this is what I feel, When Aamir started dating Sanjeeda they realized it was difficult for them to take out time for each other if they are employed with different production houses. So the only and best solution was that, one of them joined the other’s company. And Aamir must have told Barjatayas please kill my character so I can join Balaji.

Now in case of Vaishali Thakkar (Pravina Bhabhi) also, if viewers noticed she was missing in the serial most of the time. The reasons could be many; she must have had some issues with the actors or the production house. Else, she must have got tired doing the same role for last some years.

Whatever maybe the reason one thing is sure, in these daily soaps the story does get affected with external factors. As it happened in Prithviraj Chauhan, actually the young Prithviraj was to leave the serial in a short time, but the popularity of the actor Rajat Tokas made the story writer churn out more stories for the young Prithviraj. Probably, the stories in Indian TV serials are custom made.
